Ho Chi Minh City will hold the Autumn Economic Forum jointly with the EEF for the first time
From October 26 to 29, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City will become a venue for an international dialogue on the future of the economy, investment, and technological development. The city will host the Autumn Economic Forum (AEF 2026), which will bring together representatives of the public sector, business, the scientific community, and international organizations.
The main feature of the event will be cooperation with the World Economic Forum (WEF), an international organization known for holding annual meetings in Davos. For the first time, separate AEF events scheduled for October 27–28 will be organized jointly with the WEF.
The forum is expected to bring together about 1,500 participants, including government representatives, executives of major companies, international investors, technology entrepreneurs, researchers, and university representatives. The main focus will be on economic growth in the context of technological change. Participants will discuss attracting investment, developing innovative industries, introducing new technologies, and shaping modern models of international economic cooperation.
A separate place in the program will be given to interaction between the state and private business. The forum is intended to become a platform for exchanging experience, discussing joint initiatives, and establishing business contacts between Vietnamese and foreign organizations. For Ho Chi Minh City, hosting AEF 2026 jointly with the WEF will be an opportunity to expand international economic cooperation and present the city’s investment potential to foreign partners.
The event is also of interest to entrepreneurs, investors, and specialists in the technology sectors working in Vietnam. Participation in the business sessions will make it possible to become familiar with current economic initiatives and establish contacts with representatives of the international business community.
